I'll probably give this a read at some point. Great player and hands down my favourite co-commentator these days whenever I'm streaming matches. Seems like he only does non-UK broadcasts rather than Sky or BT games. Always talks sense but doesn't take himself too seriously. It helps that he does tend to be biased towards us during games, and actually knows what he's talking about.

He was one of my favourite players so I'll probably get it at some point. I also see he is doing the legends tour at the bowl. £45 a ticket for that one.

A genuinely nice bloke when I sometimes took him or Johnathan Pearce around on a Virgin Limobike on a Saturday when him and Pearce (a BBC gem, unbelievably underrated) had to get from one game to another as quickly as possible.
He knew that I was West Ham (obviously) and sometimes used to name check me on Capitol Gold.
''my pal Chim who got me here in record time were talking about the odds leading up to this one...' always used to be a thrill and made me proud that he remembered me.
I've not seen him for years but he's proper West Ham. He probably suffers from that 'ooh I can't be too nice about West Ham because people will think I'm biased' but he does love his old club.
Maybe a book I will ask for on my birthday or Christmas and I'm sure I'll enjoy it. He's a good storyteller.
